HostGator – Very simple to use and offers 24/7 support. I have the “Baby Plan” which allows unlimited domains. I have demonstrated how to set up an account with HostGator in this post.

Domains

I prefer to buy my images and I have accounts with both of the following:
PhotoDune – Over 4.5 million images.
Crestock – Over 2 million images.
Blogging Platform
WordPress.org – Free to use and all sorts of plugins available to tailor your site to your specific needs.
Web Browsers
FTP Client
FileZilla – This is a free FTP client that I use to connect to my hosting provider. What I like about this is it enables me to create an SFTP connection with HostGator.
Graphics tools
Gimp – A free image editing tool that has many functions.
Greenshot – I use this free tool for capturing screenshots.
Affiliate Marketing
I use ShareASale to promote StudioPress Premium Themes and the Genesis Framework.
